1. On Monday, Jupiter and Saturn will come closest to each other in what is being calld the great conjunction as the celestial marvel was last observed in1623 and will again take place in 2080. The two slow-moving planets will be 0.1 degrees apart.

Acording to nasa, The timinig of the conjucthin will be such that everyone will be able to view it.
They will appear so close that a pinkie finger at arm's length will easily cover both the planets in the sky.
If one view s through a telescope, Jupiter's four large moon orbiting the planet can also be seen.
It will be visible nearly an hour after sunset in the southwestern sky.
2. The Human Freedom Index 2020, a world wode ranking of civil, economic and personal freedom, released on Thursday, placd India at the 111th spot out of 162 countries. India Ranked 94 on the index in 2019. India is ahead of China and Bangladesh, which ranked 129 and 139 on the 2020 index respectively. New Zealand , Switzerland and Hong Kong bagged the first three spots. Fred McMahon and lan Vasquez ,the authors of the report, said that they expected Hong Cong's rank to decline in the future, because of China's "aggressive interventions" in the region in 2019 and 2020.

Triggering protests and the resignations of at least seven Cabinet-rank ministers, Prime minister K PSharma Oli Sunday dissolved the country's House of Representatives, which is the lower house of Parliment, two years short of its five-year tenure following months of bckering among factions within the ruling Nepal communist party (NCP). With legal experts and political leaders slamming the move as "unconstitutional", several petitions were filed before the Supeme Court within hours of the House dissolution. The decisions was taken at a Cabinet meeting in oli's residence after the failure of talks with ruling party co-chairman and dissident leader Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda. 4. Actor Sonu Sood has been named the hottest vegetarian celebrity of 2020 by PETA ( People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) India. The announcement was made by the animal rights body on their Twitter page.

5.The indian Coast Guard has pressed into service an aircraft for 'Operation Oliva', the coastal patrolling as part of its annual mission to ensure the safe mid-sea sojourn of breeding Olive Ridley sea turtles in Odisha. In joint coordination with the state forest department, the turtle coservation programme is in full swing to keep watch and vigil on illegal fishing along the turtle concentration zone, said a Coast Guard official.
6.The long-aaited ruling, handed down by a panel of three arbitrators at the swiss-based court, will bar russia's flag and anthem from appearing at each of the next two Olympic Games, and other major international competitions through Dec. 16,2022.
Thought the court reduced the duration of Russia's ban, its ruling was hailedas a victory by the World Anti-Doping Agency, ehich implemented the ban last year after WADA investigators found that Russia had tampered with drug-testing data.
"WADA is pleased to have won this landmark case" the organization's president, Witold banka, said in a statement.
"The Panel has clearly upheld our findings that the Russian authorities brazenly and illegally manipulated the Moscow Laboratory data in an effort to cover up an institutionalized doping scheme. In the face of continual resistance and denial from russia, we clearly proved our case, in accordance with due process".
